Congratulations on your new jeweler! I know you are excited to work with her. Give her a copy of I'm a New Jeweler - What do I do Now and follow these steps to get her business off to a GREAT start and make her dreams become a reality.




Step 1 - Let's Get Started (It is good to be prepared to complete all of step one at the first meeting, but circumstances may require a second. Step 1 should typically be completed in the first week.)


If you are applying for the Premier Card, we will go online and fill out the credit application for pre-approval. It will take about 48 hours for approval and that information will post on your jeweler account on the website. If she doesn't get approved you may want to see It Doesn't Have to Come from One Source (available on Graceline Website) for plan B.


Complete your contract, sample order form, new Jeweler recommendations and suggestions sheet and the hard copy application for the Premier Card (if applicable) for submission to Premier.

Let's plan a time for me to explain what you will need to do in your role as the hostess to have a successful show.




Hostess Coaching Date:






Give her a hostess packet. (See Hostess Packet Sheet for contents, available on Graceline website) Using the Hostess Receipt Sheet (available on Graceline website) thoroughly explain how she will earn her free jewelry benefits. Using Premier's pink hostess packet envelope, walk her through the checklist for a successful home show.





Jewelry Lady


50% profit on guest sales


All the future bookings


For your role as jewelry lady, I have some extra incentives for you to work towards as you stay focused on getting your business off to a great start.


Give her the Focus Folder and walk through it (see Focus Folder Sheet and contents, available on Graceline website). Encourage her to use the advance booking verbiage as she is inviting her guest to her training show to secure 6-9 bookings before her show date.


It will be important for you to learn as much as you can during these first 45 days, so let's go ahead and put the upcoming training dates on your calendar.

Have her take out her calendar or provide her with one to write down the next several training dates. Let her know up front that attending training is more important than doing a home show and crucial for her continued success.



Step 2 - Your Premier jeweler number is _____________.


As soon as her Jeweler number posts on your account, call her with her number and congratulate her. She is an official Jewelry Lady!


Now you can create a login and password for the “jeweler's only” portion of Premier's website.


Some new jewelers choose to set up a new email account. If you do, it is helpful to include some portion of your name in the address for easy identification.


Step 3 - Your Kit is here. Let's get together to:

Inventory using Training and Literature Package Content List.


Tag and organize your jewelry. Optional: Print labels for her tags from Premier's website or the Hood and House Program.


Select the combinations you want to feature at your shows.


Go to the Premier website and do an overview to answer your questions. Also show her the link to Premier Incentives for show giveaways, including tennis bracelets.


I will provide you with a list of supplies necessary for your shows. Give her Home Show Items sheet and Order Notebook Sheet (available on Graceline website). As a “welcome to my family” gift, you may want to give her some of these items.




Step 4 - We are ready for your training show:


Try to relax and enjoy being with your friends and family while watching and learning!


I will help you write up the orders to make sure you feel comfortable with it.


Remember, we will be working together to get as many of your friends committed to hosting their own shows and helping you get your business off to a great start.


At her training show you may want to surprise her by calling her up for an actual ribbon cutting ceremony to officially introduce her as the jewelry lady to her friends. Once again, a picture would be nice.




Step 5 - Now that your training show is over:


You get to take the money you collected and open a separate checking account just for your Premier business.


I will show you how to close a show with your hostess and submit it to Premier.


We will get together to practice your show to make sure you feel completely comfortable with it. Role playing with her will be very important! Make sure you role play her booking activity and sponsoring talk several times so it flows naturally.


Remember to use the tracking form in your “focus folder” to insure you qualify for Quick Start.
