Bob Bolander- Exect. of Marketing
It's never as effective to do things the easy way. We want to build up people, not just promote a product. We want to serve, but we cannot without being face to face.
This is easy if you work hard. It's hard if you work with ease.
1.) Easy to wait and see what happens. But that makes it hard to meet your needs. You cannot just want to see what happens.
If you need 500 a month to get out of debt a year, you can't just wait to see if that happens.
Three homeshows to meet your need. If you have one or two shows cancel, you need to book 7-8 a month. Ask 5 gals to get one to say yes. 25 ladies to have that business.
Don't wait around to see what happens, ask 25 ladies monthly if they want free jewelry, you will book the shows, you'll have the cancelations, and you still have 3 shows a month.
Be proactive and work hard, and the reward is there.
Plan to have your needs met.
2.) It's easy to react to people but hard to serve people if you are thinking for them.
They think I'm in a pyramid scheme, they'll think I'm pushy, etc. Or if they sign up with another business, you'll get mad at her.
My time is too valuable to wait around for her to do something.
It's easy to react to what others say and do. Hard
Do the hard thing, which is to serve when others have not followed through on their promises.
It's easy to take the path of least resistance but it makes tit hard to fulfuill our purpose.
Matthew 7:13-14- Ente by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and easy that leades to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow.
Many people come to homeshows to encourage or out of sympathy. However, by introducing the catalog on line, it removes the attraction of the homeshow, our lifeline.
Booking homeshows is difficult. However, easy route to conduct homeshows leads to Jewelers approach their business as something that is easy, and then your business
slowly falls apart.
It's difficult to enrich peoples lives and encourage them. When you have small shows,
5.) It's easy to make excuses but that makes it hard to grow a business.
-People who find success, seem to never make excuses.
-Those who fail in Premier, ususally are making excuses.
Those who find excuses, won't seem to find success in life.
Do it easy?
React to others?
Make excuses?
Take the simple road?
What will you do to find success in your business?
